Darcy Gallagher

I'm a multi-disciplinary creative who has always been fascinated by storytelling. Understanding people and what they care about is at the core of my creative work. 

I began as a journalist, graduating from Boston University with a bachelor's degree in journalism in 2023. Since then, my career has taken me through in-house, agency, freelance, and entrepreneurial work, allowing me to explore everything from social media and marketing to editorial, photography, video, design, campaign strategy, and creative direction. 

My work spans a variety of mediums, but the same concept lies at the forefront: finding an idea worth caring about and figuring out the most compelling way to share it.

Outside of work, I'm happiest near the ocean, moving my body outdoors, at a Cavs game, or making my morning coffee. I love surfing, running, hiking, photography, traveling, reading a really good book, and writing. I even wrote and published my own poetry collection, Tiny Poems: Butterfly Keeper (may or may not be in the works of a novel). 

I'm especially drawn to work that connects people to something bigger than a product, whether that's a community, place, feeling, or cause. Ultimately, I want to make creative work that's beautiful, thoughtful, and meaningful enough to stick with someone after they've scrolled past it.
